Choke points along NRG Rd mean all of us trying to use this narrow, damaged road would run directly into fire equipment and first responders coming the other way. Echoes of Lahaina, of Paradise; let's not let it happen here! Besides exiting north via Mountain View Rd or Laurel Glen Rd, we have 2 alternate ways for vehicles to get out of North Rodeo Gulch: (1) Amigo Rd to Santa Cruz Gardens to Soquel Dr (2) Chardonnay Rd to Yardarm Ct to Old San Jose Rd Here is a map of these evacuation routes. Get familiar with them!
