We received 97 surveys and we submitted our application for 2025 Firewise renewal! **Here’s what we did in 2025:** _ **Vegetation removed to reduce wildfire risk:** _ 4414 Cubic yards of vegetation hauled away 757 Cubic yards of vegetation removed by prescribed burning 3273 Cubic yards of vegetation recycled or used elsewhere _ **Time spent reducing wildfire risk** _ 6964 Hours spent reducing wildfire risk to your house 6299 Hours spent on landscaping to reduce wildfire risk (0-100 ft from your house) 32,256 Hours spent on common areas reducing wildfire risk (outside your property) 629 Hours spent in NRG Firewise meetings, attending events, administration, home site visits, _ **Money spent to reduce wildfire risk** _ $42,437 Chipper costs (rented or purchased, fuel, disposal fees, etc.) $59,504 Other equipment costs $346,854 Contractor costs (arborists, landscapers, debris removal, etc.) $1,249,693 Home improvement costs (roof, decks, windows, screening, retrofits, etc.) $75,729 DIY landscaping equipment and materials $45,481 Miscellaneous costs to reduce wildfire risk _ **Miles driven to reduce wildfire risk** _ 5578 Vehicle mileage \*\* _Water availability for firefighters_\*\* 46 Water tank(s) holding at least 10,000 gallons of water 23 swimming pool containing at least 10,000 gallons of water ---
