Woohoo! After 8 months of planning, surveys, events, and meetings, North Rodeo Gulch is now a recognized Firewise community! I didn’t expect so much resistance from the neighbors – mostly due to privacy concerns. But after 9 million acres have burned here in California in the past 2 years, wildfires are on everyone’s radars. Read more to see what Firewise recognition means:
