Backyard Burn Process has changed!
December 1stmarks the beginning of the 2025-2026 backyard burn season.
NEW: CAL FIRE requires all residents in the SRA (State Responsibility Area) or under their jurisdiction to obtain a burn permit through their website at https://burnpermit.fire.ca.gov/.
Central Fire still requires all individuals planning to burn to obtain a burn permit through our District and notify our office (burn line number provided on permit) before proceeding.
