Reminder that we’re having an Egress Fire Drill this coming weekend (Sep 30, 10:00-12:00). Please bring your MURS radios if you have one.
Also, please bring your smartphones if you’d like to keep track of the waypoints (turns/stops) along the egress route. You can use Google Maps or Apple Maps (should still track your path even if insufficient cell signal due to the internal GPS) to determine the GPS coordinates at any waypoint. Simply press on your current location on the map, and an information box will pop up that includes the GPS coordinates (parenthesized list of two numbers). You can jot these down to make note of the waypoints so that you can locate them in an emergency.
