We are forming a Board of Directors for our NRG Firewise group. Looking for neighbors who would like to help us reach our goals and share some of the tasks I’ve been managing solo for over 2 years.

Here’s the agenda:

  1. Update from meeting with OR3, Central Fire, sheriff, CHP, and others (Oct 28)

  2. Board of Directors (select)

  3. Positions needed:
    Director
    IT (website/forum management)
    Map/Spreadsheet management (John Nadler)
    Fundraising
    Surveys (annual for Firewise)
    Work Party Organizer
    Chipping Program Coordinator
    Event Planning
    Address Signs
    Emergency Egress Signs
    Road Signs (fire engine type, pull-outs, water sources)
    MURS Radio (programmer and monthly tests)

  4. GoFundMe to raise capital for emergency signs/installation, MC signs on NRG for communication with agencies, MURS radios, egress video production, mailers, event costs (2022), IT reimbursement.

We really need help to keep this going…

Im potentially interested in BOD. Fundraising, Project planning, Forest Service grant application and community engagement. Website development input. All of these in tandem with other eager souls who have a fire in the belly.
