We will be using our MURS radios to communicate during the Egress Drill on Chardonnay to Rodeo Ridge to Yardarm. This is a great time to charge your MURS radios and learn how to use it during our MURS test this Satuday, Sept 16th at 9:00 am. This is the MURS radio test (not the egress drill that will take place on Sept 30th from 10:00am-12:00pm)
Let’s see if we can hear you and if you can pass along messages to your neighbors and to other micro communities.
If you don’t have a MURS radio, purchase the Radioddity MU-5 MURS Radio (License-Free, 2-way radio, rechargeable) on Amazon.com .
Ship them to either Keith or Eric to get them programmed for the NRG channel and to scan Central Fire, CalFire, PG&E, sheriff, and CHP.
