On Saturday ithe NWS expects “periods of rain and gusty winds.” After “a brief lull,” we’re likely to then see another, stronger storm later Sunday into Monday, with “lingering showers” plus thunderstorms through Monday afternoon. The NWS has issued a flood watch for the Bay Area region that begins Saturday morning and lasts through Monday afternoon.
Residents should monitor and make sure storm drains in their neighborhoods are clear to reduce the risk of flooding ahead of Wednesday’s storm — something that will remain key ahead of this weekend’s next weather event.
As Susan previously pointed out this ***LIVE map is an excellent resource for road closures

FEMA also has created a tool that tracks which parts of a city are under flood risk — and to what extent. You can input your address in the FEMA Flood Map Service Center.
Once the map tool locates your address, you can select the “Dynamic Map” option to see a more detailed map that may have certain neighborhoods or blocks color coded to represent flood risk.
Thanks to everyone for (especially Susan) for making this forum a way to keep each other safe,
