Per NOAA - The primary concern is the potential for high-based thunderstorms from Sunday into Monday. The greatest potential will be over the Central Coast and southern portions of the Bay Area Sunday night into early Monday as the airmass aloft becomes more unstable. Lightning would be the primary hazard with some concern for wildfire starts. The forecast does suggest that thunderstorms may trend more towards the wet variety, but this doesn`t necessarily mean enough rain will fall on any one spot to quell wildfire concerns.
