We have launched our Santa Cruz County Roads Initiative. Check out our new website at santacruzroads.org. We’re still fine tuning the language and planning to include repairs for two-way roads that have been damaged and are now reduced to one-lane roads.
Please help us organize this roads initiative so 10% of our local taxes will be allocated to roads. Our 3 one-lane roads on NRG are particularly dangerous. When fire trucks and emergency vehicles go through the one-lane roads, it will create a bottleneck so we won’t be able to get through during a wildfire. We need to pass this initiative so we can safely evacuate our 300 households.
