I’ll post emergency information to quickly get messages about evacuation, shelter-in-place, and other vital plans. This forum also creates a friendly place where we can all ask and answer questions that affect our neighborhood.
Share your stories about what you’ve done to protect your homes. Let’s work together to clear 5 feet, 30 feet, and 100 feet from our structures.
Here on a finger ridge at the top of RGR we have done many things… installed all the proper signage, taken down trees more than 100+ feet away from structures and cut all brush etc. we installed a sprinkler on top of the roof that covers the entire house. We have one road out and will depend on our neighbors to alert us if there is a fire. Thanks to Susan for all the work on this project!
Wow! That is incredible that you’ve cleared more than 100 feet away from structures and cut all your brush! Do you have any photos you can share? This is really inspirational! Will your sprinklers work if the power is out?
